After your visit

What's normal after your first adjustment?

Many people feel looser and lighter right away. It's also normal to feel mild soreness for 24 to 48 hours, much like after a new workout, as your muscles adapt to better alignment.

Call us at (469) 966-1656 if anything feels unusual or worse rather than better.

01

Drink plenty of water

Staying hydrated helps your muscles recover.

02

Keep moving gently

Light walking is better than resting on the couch all day.

03

Avoid sleeping on your stomach

It twists your neck and is a common cause of subluxations.

04

Watch your phone posture

Raise screens to eye level to avoid "text neck."

05

Follow your care plan

Consistent visits early on help corrections hold longer.
